Instead, it actually attempts to get rid of all of the possible threats—which are basically your anti-virus programs. Little by little it will get rid of these programs, leaving your computer vulnerable for other viruses to come, like an enemy spy sabotaging base camp.

So in order to protect against this Data Protection virus you need to always keep your eyes peeled and never download anything which you think might be something else entirely. Do not take any risks that you don’t have to.
